  • This is usually caused by a plugin you installed. Do you have TinyMCE Advanced? There is an option to stop the stripping of <p> tags in the settings.

    I have a few plugins installed.

    I don’t have TinyMCE installed.

    Ok, looks like you’re using Gutenberg. I usually install classic editor plugin so I can use the standard version. It’s either one of your plugins causing this or someone added a function to strip p tags in your functions.php file

    I see, yes I think I have stripped the p tags in functions.php but other pages seem to be ok. So if I installed classic editor, it should work?

    Not sure if it will solve your problem, but it won’t hurt to try.

    I’ve installed classic editor and it seems to have fixed the issue 🙂
