# Paragraph spacing

 * Hi there,
 * I’m having issues with line spacing. If you look here: [http://marketingwithmichelle.com/on-page-seo/](http://marketingwithmichelle.com/on-page-seo/)
   you’ll see some of the text lumped together… even though I add spaces, they disappear
   on the updates!
 * So frustrating!
 * I didn’t copy and paste my post and I’ve manually entered in <p> </p> code, but
   it just keeps happening. Please help!

 * Potentially, the issue is related to wpautop [https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wpautop](https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wpautop)
   which automatically adds p and br tags to post content. Some developers choose
   to turn it off which creates formatting problems.
 * The only way you can manage this generally is to only edit and save pages in “
   Text” view. When you switch to “Visual” – this view will strip all p and br tags
   and let WordPress wpautop handle formatting.

 * Where specifically are you having the problem?
 * I’m seeing lot’s of
    li items in the font that is creating some ugly code? I 
   think perhaps this is more of a HTML/CSS type question as I don’t think it’s 
   browser rendering when it gets confused
