# Paragraph Returns

 * OK – so I am new to Word Press…I have spent quite a few hours on the support 
   forums looking for an answer to this. I see a lot of people are having the problem…
   and there seems to be no great solution.
 * Paragraph Returns. I cannot get them to show up in the visual post section when
   making a post. IF I do a shift return, I do get the line to shift down to the
   next line, but if I just hit enter, it doesn’t work. And doing two shift return
   doesn’t work either. I want a seperate paragraph. This is recipe blog, I have
   added my mother as someone that I would like to be able to post recipes and edit
   others, etc. She will have no idea how to use the code section of something like
   this. I would like for the visual editor to work.
 * Anyone have any solutions?

 * Disable the Rich Text Editor in your User section.
    That should do it.

 * Oh, I’ve read that this [Text Control Plugin](http://bytor.co.uk/library) works
   but I don’t know for sure.
