 * Am I wrong to think that this plugin used to allow one to pan an image but that
   feature has now been removed? Is there a reason for this? Other than that the
   plugin works great, but I was hoping for a pan feature.

 * Ok … I believe that I understood and no, the plugin had never allowed to pan 
   the image (unfortunately).
 * The colorbox JS library does not allow that 🙁
