Support » Plugin: Compress JPEG & PNG images » Paid Tinify invoice but it’s not recognised!

  • I ran out of free compressions so went to upgrade my account. I paid my money and I have a paid invoice showing on my account but when I go into the website where I had the problem, it still says I am on a free account and have hit the limit.

My API page lists a new API with zero compressions against it, but when I copy and paste that into the ‘Compress JPEG & PNG images’ page it still tells me that I am on a Free account and that I need to upgrade.

So, I deleted the plugin completely and reinstalled it, but it remembered my account from before and so that didn’t make any difference.

I need to get this stuff compressed. All suggestions most gratefully received.

    Hi there,

The WordPress plugin makes use of the Developer API service. It has a pay-per-compressing billing, the pricing is explained at https://tinypng.com/developers#pricing.

To remove the 500 compression limit, you can go to your account dashboard at https://tinify.com/dashboard/api and upgrade from the free account to the paid version. The pricing for this is also explained further down on that page.

Please send us an email at support@tinify.com if you have purchased the wrong product. We’d be happy to look into this.

    Hope this helps!
