Support » Plugin: Compress JPEG & PNG images » Paid Tinify invoice but it’s not recognised!

  • I ran out of free compressions so went to upgrade my account. I paid my money and I have a paid invoice showing on my account but when I go into the website where I had the problem, it still says I am on a free account and have hit the limit.

My API page lists a new API with zero compressions against it, but when I copy and paste that into the ‘Compress JPEG & PNG images’ page it still tells me that I am on a Free account and that I need to upgrade.

So, I deleted the plugin completely and reinstalled it, but it remembered my account from before and so that didn’t make any difference.

I need to get this stuff compressed. All suggestions most gratefully received.

    Hi there,

The WordPress plugin makes use of the Developer API service. It has a pay-per-compressing billing, the pricing is explained at

To remove the 500 compression limit, you can go to your account dashboard at and upgrade from the free account to the paid version. The pricing for this is also explained further down on that page.

Please send us an email at if you have purchased the wrong product. We’d be happy to look into this.

    Hope this helps!
