Paid themes

Hi there, everyone. Total newbie here.

The company I’m working for is getting me to rebuild their website from the ground up: http://www.leapssports.com

We want to use a new theme and everything, but keep the same URL. Since this is an active website, and we can’t very well have it be a construction zone for a period of several months, I’m using a plugin called XAMPP to build the site in wordpress, and transfer it over (somehow?) once I’m done building it.

I’ve been building this XAMPP site for a few months now using a free wordpress theme, but I’ve decided it would be best to upgrade to a paid version of it. Before making the purchase, I want to be sure that my ownership of this theme will be able to transfer over to the live site once we switch to the leapssports.com URL.

I’m so new to all this, I’m not sure if this issue even makes sense to anyone else. If you have any questions, please let me know! would do anything to get some answers on this so I can continue my work on the site.
