• I setup a monthly payment with this plugin – yes 5 dollars to print (are we in the stone age) – the payment agreement was that they would remove the ads on my site after payment. Well, I have paid and the ads are still there, so at this moment this plugin pay system is a scam. They are taking my money monthly and not providing the service they said they would. Beware Buyer, beware.

  • Well, PrintFriendly has over hundreds of Pro users — that list includes many government websites and renowned universities — and they are using/paying for the service for a reason.

I think there’s something called “support” that means you email/open a ticket asking for support from your service provider (no matter what service it is) in case anything goes wrong or doesn’t work as expected, not go to forum and share your immediate judgement that they are scam.

PrintFriendly, on its every page, has an email address support@printfriendly.com which is there so that questions can be directed at them. And there’s a dedicated support team to answer questions within 24 hours.

And from what I know, PrintFriendly takes up to 24 hours to propagate new domain names and to stop sending ads to ad-free user. Ad-free users don’t get to do anything on their end but just wait for the process to automatically start. It’s a convenience that I believe every publisher likes.

Next time, whichever service you use for whatever purpose, I suggest you take your time to research, or at least contact the customer support of the service you’re criticizing, before you make a judgement and share with people.

Can you provide us with the email address that you used to send the email? Because I check every email within 24 hours (48 hours max occasionally) and that includes our spambox. Every single email is replied unless it’s an obvious spam, in which case I personally mark those as spam (There’s no automated filter so that we can manually scan every email that comes through and avoid emails landing in spam box accidentally.

So there’s no possible way that two emails would go unnoticed or not-replied unless the email didn’t reach our inbox in the first place.

Please send me your email address to ai@printfriendly.com and I’ll look up your email address on our inbox. Something like that should never have happened.
