  • Hello:

    We have two sets of products.
    1. Without any shipping class. Domestic shipping free and International shipping paid. Paid shipping is calculated using https://wordpress.org/plugins/fedex-woocommerce-shipping-method/ .

    2. With Shipping Class. Domestic and International shipping are free.

    Presently we are not able to achieve the 2nd set of products. Can we achieve this using your plugin?

    If you need to use two different shipping methods, so FedEx for one and the Free Shipping method for the other, then yes, you will need to split the cart into packages. This is the only way to show two separate shipping lines in the order summary, one for each group. This plugin should be able to help with that 🙂

    Hello: We tried but somehow one or the other thing does not work as we want. Here is a gist of what is happening. Be default we have no shipping class assigned to any products. With your plugin we tried the below. Group by “Shipping Class”.

    We created 2 Shipping classes.
    1. Free Shipping : Assigned Shipping method restriction “Free Shipping”.
    2. Fedex International Shipping : Assigned shipping method “Fedex Basic”.

    We assigned each shipping class to 2 products.
    ProductA : Free Shipping.(Domestic and Worldwide free shipping)
    ProductB : Fedex Basic.(Domestic shipping free and Worldwide shipping from Fedex API)

    But this does not work. Problem:

    For international orders Product B shows fedex and free shipping both option available while on cart and checkout page.

    Please help.

    It seems both of you may be using the same FedEx plugin. It’s possible that the plugin is using the same hook and altering the results. Another user had a different shipping method that also used this same hook, but instead of undoing its results, it doubled them creating four shipping lines instead of two. They had to contact the developer of that plugin for further assistance. You may want to contact the developer of the FedEx plugin and ask if it connects to the ‘woocommerce_cart_shipping_packages’ action hook.
