I’m using Blog-in-Blog on four pages of our new site at WhiskyCast.com — the WhiskyCast Episodes page, the WhiskyCast Virtual Tastings page, and the WhiskyCast In-Depth page all work as they should, with posts carrying over to multiple pages using these shortcodes:
[blog_in_blog category_id=3337 num=6]for In-Depth
[blog_in_blog category_slug='episodes' num=8]for WhiskyCast Episodes
[blog_in_blog category_id=2614 num=8]for Virtual Tastings
It’s the fourth one…the News Updates page, that will not paginate and only shows one page with no options for additional pages. Here’s the current version of the shortcode:
[blog_in_blog category_slug='news-updates' num=6 pagination=on]
The veteran coders I’ve been working with on the site haven’t been able to come up with a solution that works. I’ve tried copying the good shortcode from one of the other pages and replacing the slug, changing the slug to ‘news’ instead of ‘news-updates’ (along with the category slug), but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else seen this, and what did you do to fix it? I’ve had to go back to using the category page for this category instead of the Blog-in-Blog version at http://whiskycast.com/news/ that I would prefer to work with…
