# Pagination with category posts

 * I’m pleased using the Make theme. No troubles so far.
 * What I wonder is, is it there a way to customize the previous/next post links
   on single pages so that they only link to posts from the same category?
 * I’m linking from a gallery page to an individual post in a certain category and
   want my visitors to only link forward and backward to pages in the same category.

 * I think the only way you could do this would be to install a [child-theme](https://thethemefoundry.com/docs/make-docs/advanced/installing-child-theme/)
   and add a [category template](https://codex.wordpress.org/Category_Templates)(
   copy over the index.php/default template) and then customize that. I’m not aware
   of any plugins that allow you to customize your category archives.
