# Pagination Problem with Postname Permalink

 * I’m having issues with pagination on my project custom post page when using custom
   permalinks (e.g. postname).
 * When I click the NEXT link to go to page 2, it adds /page/2/ to the end of the
   domain and doesn’t find the page, bring up the 404 error. Strange thing is that
   it works completely fine if using default permalinks as it adds &paged=2 to the
   end of the domain.
 * Will it have something to do with the .htaccess file? I need to get this working
   ASAP so any help will be appreciated.
