Pagination on single.php?

    Hi,

    Is it possible to have wp-navi style pagination on my single.php page, without having to use something like the wp_link_pages or enhanced_link_pages code?

    The reason I ask is that I want all the control that a plugin like WP Paging offers, but on my single post page.

    Failing that, is there any way to limit the number of pages that wp_link_pages displays?
