    I'm using WP-PageNavi plugin for paging. I created a custom template and then assigned this template to my static page from admin. Within template am querying posts from database based on specific type and list them. Here I'm trying to show paging as well if have more posts then the page size. But paging links are not being shown, can anyone please help me on how I can achieve this ?

    Below is the code part being used to render pagination.

    if(function_exists('wp_paginate'))
    {
         wp_paginate();
    }

    You got the wrong plugin. wp_paginate() doesn't belong to WP-PageNavi

    My bad, got typo there, It's wp_pagenavi instead of wp_paginate

    Thanks for the highlighting.

    You probably have to pass in the query post variable. Read the sticky post http://wordpress.org/support/topic/navigation-not-working-3?replies=1
