Pagination on homepage

Dear Konstantin,

I’m loving the semicolon theme since it’s so easy to adjust to my likings!
One thing I can’t figure out though, is how to get the pagination work on my static homepage, where I show the latest posts.

I set ‘homepage’ as static front page, made a template for it and assigned this to the page ‘homepage’. Everything else works perfectly except the pagination. Is there anything I’m missing?

Adding semicolon_paging_nav() works, and it’s showing me the correct number of pages. But clicking to, for instance, page 2, shows me exact the same posts as the first page.
