pagination not working

I can’t seem to get the pagination working with the plugin. When I first added paginate=’yes’ it was working but then it stopped working all of a sudden. Here is what my shortcode looks like currently: [ic_add_posts category=’yak-of-the-week’ paginate=’yes’]

I used the shortcode to get posts and put them in a page and even installed wp-pagenavi and that didn’t work either. I have permalinks set to %postname% and I also tried changing permalinks back to default and re saving them back to %postname%

I am also using the genesis framework

any help would be greatly appreciated!
