pagination not working

I installed WP-PageNavi today and I noticed that I couldn’t move from one page to the other. No matter in what page I was in (as per the URL), the contents would always be the same as in the homepage. I’m not using twentyten as the main theme. If it might help my theme is pinksimplescheme.

Any ideas of what the problem might be?
I would assume that the plugin was not the problem, cause the URL changes correctly.
