Pagination issue

    Hi,
    the video categories show correct paginations according to the Limit(per page) number.
    If I do mouseover on the page “2”, for axample, the tooltip shows the correct URL (http://localhost/wp/page/2), but even though I click on the page “2”, it remains on the page “1”.

    If I click on a video of the page “1”, the video opens and under the “you may also like” the other videos are shown with the pagination And this pagination works correctly!! If I click on a page number, the corresponding page is displayed.

    This issue seems to be independent of the browser (tested with the current version of Chrome and MS IE) and of the theme (tested with Twenty Twenty and Hueman).

    I would appreaciate if you can help me to fix this issue.

    I guess you should be using the gallery in a WordPress Post (WordPress Admin Panel => Posts). There is a known issue with the pagination parameter when used in posts. The reason is the posts can be paginated themselves and also depends on the “page” parameter from the URL. So, this creates a conflict.

    Instead, try using a WordPress Page (WordPress Admin Panel => Pages). This should solve your problem.

    In case the issue remains, kindly try flushing your rewrite rules.

    To do that, Go to Dashboard > Then Navigate to Reading Settings and then click on the “Permalinks” from the menu. When you are at the permalinks page, simply Hit “Save” and that will flush the permalinks.

    Yes, that was it, thank you!!!
    I understand, why the issue arised.

    I put the gallery shortcode into a post in order for assign tags to the videos since I did not find any tagging possibilty to the single videos. Any suggestions?
