    Hi,
Excellent plugin, especialy the part where the imediate area around the link is also clickable. Easy and very nice.

But it would even be better with pagination (paging) such that the widget displays x news then at the bottom “pagenumber” to link to following x number of newslinks.

Also it would be verry nice if the link had the possibility a cutoff at x (so many) characters.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Pagination will be a feature in the next release.

About to set the length of the excerpt you can try our add-on Excerpt Extension which works only with the pro version: http://tiptoppress.com/extensions/excerpt-extension/

I need the pagination too, because I have many posts per category. So the result-page is too long and need a lot of loading time. It would be fine, if you would give the pagination to the plugin shortly!
    Thanks

We add a ‘load more’ feature.

The option is in the General panel on the very lowest position: “Enable Load More”.

You can download the next, upcoming version here: https://github.com/tiptoppress/category-posts-widget/tree/4.9

It is a very stable version right now.

This is not a pagination, but it is a lazy loading which can help to not load all posts at once and if the page is called.

A real pagination design we can imagine more as a widget add-on for our pro widget, because we have there filter hooks to have custom extension. Are you interested in it?

    Thank you for your reply.
Too bad that you do not offer easy pagination.
Meanwhile I found an other WP-plugin, which can handle category-viewing with pagination as I need.
So I will change to this.
If you decide to offer a pagination opportunity in the future, feel free to contact me.

    Regards
    Andy

Sounds also a good solution for us.

Anyway can you give us the name you use which supports pagination.
