Pageviews doubling up

    Since I installed the plugin my pageviews have been unusually high in Google Analytics. They look as though they are doubled. Also my bounce rate is much lower than normal (around 5% when previously it was around 80%). I’ve checked my site using the Google Tag Assistant and don’t appear to have a double up of my analytics tag. Any ideas on why this might be happening and how to resolve it?

    I’m tracking replies to this issue too as I’m having the same problem. There seems to be a problem with bounce rate going below 5%.

    Delicieux, I was able to find a solution for my website Asiatravelbug.

    I learned that my website has 2 google analytics installed which caused the duplicate pageviews and erratic bounce rate for one day. I was able to identify it with my google analytics code appearing twice in my website’s source info.

    The first one came from another google analytics plug-in which I have installed prior to installing google analyticator. If you have the same problem, just uninstall any other google analytics plugin in your website aside from google analyticator. I hope this helps.
