    Hi,

I just installed your plugin as my hosting provider also recommended it for me (coincidently I first discovered it myself, then noticed they actually recommended it aswell!) However, after activating the plugin, and enabling the Reduce HTML, CSS, Javascript options from the plugin settings, nothing has changed in the results of Googles PageSpeed Insights and they still recommend for me to reduce HTML, Javascript and CSS code.
    Shouldnt those suggestions be gone?

    Thank you for your time

    thx @saajanbedi 🙂

@aekramer; autoptimize doesn’t even seem active, could be a plugin or theme conflict?

Hi, thanks for the fast reply I seem to have missed it.

Anyway, I am 100% confident the plugin is active and Optimize HTML, CSS and Javascript are all active.

How would I go about checking if there is a plugin/theme conflict? I am also using WP SuperCache, Yoast SEO, SiteOrigin Pagebuilder, GMAIL SMTP, iThemes Security.

Not using a CDN, however I was going to use Redis Cache and Varnish aswell in the future (my hosting provider had a post about these also being available, and should be working with Autoptimize aswell)

your parent theme seems to have some minification functionality of its own (cfr. e.g. core/content/themes/autotrader-parent/cache/min-css-589d01075478965f608f97f49a00c424.css?m=0), that could cause conflicts. check if that is an option you can deactivate in the theme settings maybe?

    Hi,
Unfortunately I could not find anything to disable that feature for now, but ill contact the maker of the theme. Thank you for your assistance, ill get back to this thread afterwards.

    Hi,

This issue has been resolved, turns out there probably was some kind of conflict, after running elaborate testing the minify HTML,CSS etc was still given a 90+/100 rating.
