Pagespeed -40 (mobile) with active plugin

Hey Guys,

on Desktop the plugin works perfect.

on Mobile it doesnt. without the plugin 99 Insight Pagespeed
with active plugin arount 60.

By checking my domain with Insight you can see, that i already minimized the popup.

I don’t see any optimizations suggested by Google in the rapport that suggests Complianz might have a negative effect; https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=nl&url=https%3A%2F%2Fjulianerosier.de%2F&tab=mobile

We have a page score of 95 with Complianz enabled here; https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=nl&url=https%3A%2F%2Freally-simple-ssl.com%2F&tab=mobile

This will really depend on what the difference is between Complianz enabled/disabled and your WP Rocket settings. It might be worth it to split cache files between desktop and mobile, and regenerate these files to make sure unused CSS and Javascript is not served.

Hi Aert,

thank you for your very fast reply.

I dont see any suggestion by Google, too. The thing is, if i deactivate the complianz plugin, i have 99 on mobile.
Split Cache is already active. I regenerated everything and did another test with same results.

When I check your site with 95 (https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=nl&url=https%3A%2F%2Freally-simple-ssl.com%2F) I cannot see any Cookie consent message box, hm. That could explaine the 95 ?

I also noticed this on my site.
If I could send temporary credentials to Aert, maybe he could test for himself.
Just give me an email address and I will manage to send you temporary logins.

@spatoby Just did a fresh test at PageSpeed Insights.
With these two plugins activated:
Complianz – Terms and Conditions
Version 1.0.8
Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent
Version 5.0.3

I am now back to what is “normal” for me:
Mobile: 85
Desktop: 97

It must have something to do with a network connection…?

I am really sorry, I guess this was my fault.

I rechecked it several times with and without the plugin activated and the report is pretty much the same.

Maybe it was something with caching or network connection.
