Within wordpress admin, neither Pages nor All Pages will load or open. Just white screen. Cannot edit or recover content. Rest of site will not load either.

Is this a new install? Was this installed with a script?

Delete thed wp-admin and wp-includes folders. From a fresh copy of wordpress up load the extracted copies of wp-admin and wp-includes to your site. DO NOT touch the wp-content.

How do I just recover my content? At this point I just want to walk away, I'm giving up on my wordpress site, and many hundreds of hours are lost, but all I want now is to recover my TEXT. That is, my written content within the 'pages' of my wp-admin. I have about 10 pages in particular of a paper I wrote that is very valuable to me. I did not back it up anywhere else:( and the ONLY place it exists, if it still exists is withing wordpress. Where is that text saved? How can I copy/paste it from wherever it is. Within bluehost in a directory?

How do I just recover my content?

Your site's content is stored in your database at Bluehost, so you could download a backup of that database.

To recover a small amount of content.

Make a backup of the database.

To get to the 10 pages you need sign in to your hosted account. There should be an icon for MySQL. Click on that and you should see the database. Click on that and the db will open up. Go to wp-post content and check the box. Then click above on browse.

You will get a table showing all posts and pages. Scroll down until you recognize a page you want and click on the edit button (to the left of the post). Another window will open and you can highlight the text and copy it.

You might want to consider getting an account on WordPress.com
You don't have as many options but it is much easier to manage.
