I am using the shortcode to add documents onto different WordPress pages. I am creating a page for each document category, and then using the category short code to add them to each page. There are a few categories that currently do not have any documents in them.

On the pages that have short code for categories that currently have no documents, it is defaulting to the first category it can find that has a document in it. This, obviously, isn’t good because the documents don’t match the page that they are displaying on. Any ideas of how to fix this?

I found the problem. It turns out that you can’t use ampersands within the category names unless you use the HTML ampersand entity (&/amp).
