    Hi
How did you remove the plugin ? If you used the delete link, then Polylang should remove cleanly.

Yes, first I disabled the plugin and then remove.

In Settings > Permalinks: Common Settings : could you select “Default”.

Could you try with your theme and no other plugins activated?
If it doesn’t work try with a default wp theme like Twenty Twelve.

I have already set the default from the perm links… :/ Not cool

I think the thing is with the theme, but I can’t change the theme because my website needs to be up 24/7. Thanks for your help! If you have any other idea, you can tell me.

    Hi!

when going to the site via browser the texts are gone.

Could you be clearer? Have you a 404 error?

Polylang does not remove pages. But the url may have changed (if you had the language code in url).

Did you try to access them from teh admin (with the “view” link in the pages list table)?

    Hi,

Is there a solution for the mentioned problem? Because I also experienced the same problem on my localhost website. To be more specific: All pages are blank except for three icons in the topbar, without any error messages. I also tried to access them from the admin, but it doesn’t work. Also the trick with the permalinks doesn’t work.

So, in this stage I’m a bit reluctant to use Polylang on my published website.
I first want to be sure this can be corrected and if so, how precisely.

    Thank you for your response.

No. Your problem is different. You certainly experienced an error du to a plugin or theme conflict. Please open a new thread if you need more help.
