Pages redirecting from staging to live

Hi there,

I have activated permalinks on the staging site in order to use and test a caching plugin (Cache Enabler)

The links however are redirecting from staging to live, e.g. from ~.com/staging/page-name to ~.com/page-name

Checked on GTMetrix too to ensure the issue is not just local.

There are no redirection plugins set up on the site.

Any ideas?
