# Pages overlapping

 * Help me please!
    Something has happened to my website. When the pages anywhere
   on the menus are clicked on, it just displays a jumbled mess of text. I don’t
   know if the pages are sticking and displaying on top of each other or what. I
   am really not technically minded, so if anyone has any clue as to what I may 
   have done please let me know in simple terms. There are 2 possibilities that 
   may have caused this: one is that I mistakenly installed quite a few plugins,
   which may have clashed. I have deleted those now. Secondly I was messing around
   with my side bars trying to get an affiliate linking page to display properly.
   Now I’ve spent so long trying different things I can’t remember what I’ve done.

 * I don’t see ‘a jumbled mess of text’ but it seems that the horizontal menu is
   overloaded with a lot of links, and spilling over the content; the content itself
   seems to be unchanged.
    this happens on the front page and on all other pages.
 * have you changed anything to _**dashboard – appearance – menus**_ or whatever
   creates the main menu in your theme?

 * Quite possibly, but I don’t know what. I’ve tried so many things I’ve lost track
   of what I’ve been doing.
    What should I check for to rectify it? I’m not very
   good on wordpress so please be gentle 🙂 Thanks for getting in touch though, 
   I appreciate it.
