I’m running WP 2.1.3. I wanted the WP search function to return Pages (or static pages) as well as posts, so I installed the Seach Everything plugin. Pages now show up in the search results. Good so far.
The problem: Pages do not show up in the category archive (archive.php). I understand that you can’t assign a category to a Page. But by default, Pages are assigned to the Uncategorized (or equivalent) category. This becomes a problem when search results show Category in the postmetadata section. The user clicks on Uncategorized…and Pages aren’t displayed in the category archive.
Is it possible to enable display of Pages on the category archive page?
Or alternatively, is it possible to suppress the display of postmetadata (on the search page) in the case the item listed is a Page?
I’ve searched up and down…and the obvious evades me.
