    Hi there,

    I know my way around WP a bit, but by no means am I expert, and I am at a loss as to how to deal with this problem – we have a site http://chiropractic.org.nz/ which we are moving to a new hosting. This is the newly hosted site which we are checking before going live http://new.chiropractic.org.nz/

    The inner pages are not loading and the following error message is being given

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_field() in /container/application/public/wp-content/themes/magazine-pro/functions.php:523 Stack trace: #0 /container/application/public/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(298): private_public_menu(”) #1 /container/application/public/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(323): WP_Hook->apply_filters(”, Array) #2 /container/application/public/wp-includes/plugin.php(453): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #3 /container/application/public/wp-content/themes/genesis/sidebar.php(21): do_action(‘genesis_sidebar’) #4 /container/application/public/wp-includes/template.php(684): require_once(‘/container/appl…’) #5 /container/application/public/wp-includes/template.php(643): load_template(‘/container/appl…’, true) #6 /container/application/public/wp-includes/general-template.php(122): locate_template(Array, true) #7 /container/application/public/wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/structure/layout.php(202): get_sidebar() #8 /container/application/public/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(298): genesi in /container/application/public/wp-content/themes/magazine-pro/functions.php on line 523

    Would really appreciate any help sorting this out.
    Cheers
    Grant

    – Your theme “magazine-pro” seems to be the error.

    – For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site.
    – As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there. It also allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code.

    – If you need immediate access to the dashboard, try switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen or twenty seventeen) using FTP/ SFTP , or your web-host’s cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides (no Dashboard access required).

    Hi there, thanks for you attention to this.

    And thanks for the heads up. The person responsible for adding that theme is no longer available which is why we’re looking at moving it from the current hosting, and if it’s a paid for theme I guess that’ll explain why things aren’t working on a copied version of the site(?) if the theme is only supposed to work on the particular location.

    Would you mind telling me how you recognized the theme as being the cause for the error please? That didn’t occur to me, like I say, I’m no WP expert, and it would be good to know how to spot it again.

    Cheers

    And you are right by the way. I did as you suggested and loaded a WP theme and the pages load fine. Cheers.
