• My Pages are listed in my sidebar. I’m happy with that. The problem is that the Pages are also listed in many header. I know that there is a setting for that but I can’t find it yet.

    It’s probably a menu, which you can control following the steps at https://wordpress.org/support/article/appearance-menus-screen/

    If there’s no menu set yet, some themes just list the pages by default, so if you don’t have a menu set to customize, just build your own menu to override that.

    I removed the pages from the main menu. They are still there. Several are private and shouldn’t be showing up anywhere.

    I only have the main menu.

    Are you saying that I should build a top menu with nothing in it and that will overwrite the pages from the header?

    Yes, build a menu either with nothing in it or with only what you want in it.
