Pages in subfolder not displaying

    I installed WP in sub folder, created .htaccess file, set up permalinks, everything works fine, except when I go view my pages it tries to read the index.php from root. I checked wp (URL) & blog (URL) it’s the same sub folder, also checked DB. Not sure why I can not view pages nor posts.
    Any suggstions please!!
