# Pages displaying HTML Code

 * Hello, i’m creating a new website off a genesis child template and having some
   issues making my subpages. The homepage turned out fine/working as advertised.
 * My subpages, when I go to insert HTML code into the visual or text editor in 
   the page edit page, the actual code displays on the website. How can I make it
   so the code doesn’t display and acts as its supposed to? Driving me insane!

 * Okay, first of all esmi. Thank you for your help…
 * When I’m wrong ill admit it. I was putting html code into visual editor box. 
   I deleted the html code, switched over to text box entry and retried the code.
   Works like the charm.
 * In my defense I did switch it over about 6 hours ago when I first developed the
   problem. I just didn’t delete the code before switching it.
