Support » Fixing WordPress » Pages – Create new root Page

  • I am new to WP. I have read a lot of support forums to resolve my issue; however, I am unclear what I need to do. On my site http://devorzongallery.com/blog/ I have a “root” (I guess this is what you call it) Page entitled “Artist Gallery” with individual parents. The “Artist Gallery” is a heading and underlined. Now I want to create another “root” Page called “Exibitions” with individual parents. This “root” page would have its own heading and underlined exactly like “Artist Gallery”.

How do I do this? I have searched all types of plug-ins / widgets. These Pages are indeed Pages. I do not want them to be posts. I am very new at this; however, able to learn. Thank you for providing newbie help.

  • This is an addition to my question and explanation – The Page “root” – Artist Gallery – is used in the sidebar. I want another Page “root” that I can call “Exhibits” in the side bar. Do I need to insert (edit) some kind of code in the Page Template of the template I am using? If so, please tell the code to use and where to insert. Thank you for your help.
