    Hello All,

I am new to WP and am doing my best to set up my website myself…but as you all know, sometimes one can run into issues when doing so.

I am trying to create Sub-Pages (drop-down menu) for a page. For example, on my Products page, I want to create two drop-down pages. I created one, and made the parent page my Products. However, when I go to the website, the drop-down page is not visible (and I have posted as Public).

Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

    Here is my page: http://www.gtlightingandelectrical.com/

Your site may be setup to use custom menus with only new top level pages automatically appearing in the menu. If so you need to add menu items following the directions at http://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Menus_Screen

I forgot to mention that I am using Theme “Twenty Eleven.” Can you please assist with this in mind?

go to appearance => menus and add the new page in the correct place in your secondary menu

what if I have already created the page?

I checked the Menus page and the sub-page is already correctly listed in the secondary menu.

if the page menu item is setup & showing corrrectly in the menu admin page but not on the front end, the next thing to do is investigate whether there is an issue where a plugin may be preventing second-level menu items from showing.

To do this deactivate all plugins and check the site. If there menu is showing correctly yiu can then identify which one is causing the issue if yiu reactivate the plugins one-by-one checking the site as you go.
