 * Hey There,
 * I might seem like a complete noob for posting this – and if so I apologise to
   all the ‘elders of the site’.
 * Anyway what I would like to do is have something like [http://www.878studios.com](http://www.878studios.com)–
   using only the pages feature without the wordpress webblog.
 * Your help would be apprechiated. 🙂

 * No need to apologize helping is the reason we are here.
 * You might want to look into one of the plugins that accomplish this:
    [http://semiologic.com/software/static-front/](http://semiologic.com/software/static-front/)
   is one that comes to mind quickly You’ll then need to edit the theme to remove
   references in the sidebar to any of the references to posts like category or 
   archive pages that most themes provided.
 * If you need more info regarding theme modification, you can start by looking 
   at the [Codex](http://codex.wordpress.org)
    or more specifically, [Blog_Design_and_Layout#Themes_and_Templates](http://codex.wordpress.org/Blog_Design_and_Layout#Themes_and_Templates)

 * So other than getting rid of the side bar it would be like editing the kubrick
   theme because thats what we have done before over @ my personal blog [http://surge.nzcool.com](http://surge.nzcool.com).
