 * Hi, I’m trying to make a new page. I’ve followed all the steps and I can see 
   it on my dashboard, but not on the top of my blog with my other pages. What am
   I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

 * Just to clarify, are you referring to creating a blog page or a non-blog related
   page on your site?
 * If it’s a blog entry, use Posts > Add new
    not Pages > Add new
