I have just installed Page-list and I'm using just the pagelist_ext shortcode on one page.

However, when it is activated the style of all pages on my site changes (as some others have mentioned.

How can I rectify this please?

Sorry, but I don't understand what is wrong with this page.

    I have 2 questions:
    What you expected to see?
    What you got instead?

    Sorry, let me explain.

First look at any of the navigation links to categories like News, Music, Fashion & Beauty etc and on those pages you see the font of the navigation bar is Oswald and the big ad below is quite close to the navigation bar. Also, at the end of the navigation bar there is a link for Send Stuff.

Now if you click Competitions, Contact Us or Careers (these are all pages) you will see the font has changed, the big advert below is further down, the Send Stuff link has disappeared (due to the font being bigger and pushing it off the navigation bar). There are other style issues with pages.

If I turn off Page-list then all these issues disappear and the pages styling looks exactly the same as the categories styling.

    Does that help?

Page-list plugin does not change the font-family at all. It tries to use the default theme styles. There are only minimum styles for list markup.
You may check out the css code.

But if you are convinced that it is the fault of the css styles from page-list plugin you may do the following. You may delete the styles line by line from that file and maybe you will find the cause of the problem.

Thanks but I already tried commenting the styles and that didn't work either.

It's very strange indeed because I have seen the stylesheet and you're right it makes no changes.

However the issue definitely only happens when Page-list is activated and it only affects WordPress pages, not posts or any other taxonomy.

I have seen some other people mention this too.

I'll do some more digging. Thanks for checking it out and for responding so quickly!

I should have come back sooner and mentioned that I resolved this. I can't remember how, but the error was on my part - nothing wrong with the plugin. Thanks again!
