# Paged Navigation Hack

 * I’ve been searching for the past 6 hours a solution to this and I’m almost 100%
   sure that there’s no information on how to edit the `/page/` part of an paged
   navigation address like:
 * > `http://domain.com/author/joedoe/page/2/`
 * I’ve been reading the codex as well as the codex forum and I believe that the
   answer to this will be achieved by using `$wp_rewrite` and `$permalink_structure`
   but I can’t simply find how to put this two things together (instead of modifying
   the `includes/rewrite.php` file and the `rewrite_rules` in the `wp_options` table
   in the database).
 * I’ve also seen a few open non-resolved questions about this subject, any information
   that can guide me towards the good solution will be highly appreciated.
 * Being able to change this is vital for consistency while creating custom templates
   in languages other than English or French.
