page width on static page

    i’m using this theme for my portfolio so i only have galleries on every page (inserted using add media > create gallery). when i make the first page the static front page, the page width is wider than the other pages. how can i make the page width consistent throughout?

    Hello,

    Please try to change the value of option: Appearance -> Customize -> Layout & Features -> Portfolio view width

    I am having the same problem. I like the 1200 width for the portfolio posts, though, but my first page is information so it becomes hard to read. So the customize appearance does not help me.

    @heloisecullen – if you need to minimize the width only of the one specific page – please use CSS and some page-related CSS classes from the body element i.e. for the frontpage it will be the home class – then you will be able to create CSS rules which will work only on the specific page.
