 * I want to modify the page width of my posts and pages. How can I do this. I did
a lot of medling with the editors, most of them resulted in crashing my site
with some error syntax. Please help.

 * You will need to start customising your theme’s CSS – possibly by way of a [child theme](http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes).

 * Got It’ll take forever for me to familiarize with that kinda stuff. Isn’t there
a bit of code or something that i pit it in my css and get done with it? Or which
part of existing code should i edit to achieve this?

 * You’ll need a tool like [Firebug](http://getfirebug.com/) to identify the correct
   CSS to change.
 * > Or which part of existing code should i edit to achieve this?
 * We prefer to give answers like “use a child theme” because later on when your
modifications are lost you’ll wish you had.
 * It’s the same CSS, just add one more simple step and you’ll find your installation
is easier for you to support.

 * I’ve been fiddling with firebug for a long time now. Still haven’t figured the
right way of doing it. I know, I must be a jack ass to have firebug and still
not be able to figure this out. When I edit any code i first make a copy of it
and then proceed. Just so that if i screw up i can upload the original from the
   cpanel and get it fixed.
