    Hello Tejas

My guess is that you have a caching plugin installed and when looking at the site as not logged in you are seeing a cached version of the site – from before you installed the Page view count plugin. That would be why you can see it as a logged in user – caching plugins have a setting – do not serve cache to logged in users.

If that is the case then please clear your cache and try that.

    Hello Steve,

    Thanks for reply.

Yes, I do have Quick Cache installed and activated. And on deactivation and then again activation of Quick Cache worked for me.

I was going thru’ settings of QC and one of the option is Client side cache — which is set to No.

So, whenever there is a problem of this kind with page view count not displayed — best option to resolve is ‘Clear browser cache and reload the page‘ — right !! ???

    Thanks once again for help.

    Cheers 🙂

That is good – you should not see the issue again as the Page View Count is loaded by ajax and cannot be cached. I think you only see it first time because in browser it was showing cache of the site from Before you had installed the plugin. So you and your not logged in users should not have any issues from here.

Tejas if this has resolved this issue for you please change the topic status to Resolved and take a moment to give it your star rating. Thanks – Steve

    Steve,

One more question — I have installed this for woocommerce site of my client and in settings I have selected to display ‘views’ only on ‘Products’ page — working fine. But, what I have noticed that in addition to Single product page, it is displayed also on ‘Shop’ and ‘Category’ page — Is there any way by which ‘Views’ are displayed ONLY on ‘Single Product’ page ???

Secondly, when page is refreshed, number of views is incremented which also should not be the case.

    Any suggestions for these ??

    Cheers 🙂
