Page Url & Speed Issue Issue

I am trying to buid my site with your theme. Its look cool and I have faced several issue while trying to customize it.
The page URLs are not in Seo friendly and its looks really odd.For example one of my page URL is “http://www.curind.com/?page_id=24” but I want it to be “http://www.curind.com/AboutUS” .Is it possible to change it.

For slow speed Mobile internet connection the site is loading very slowly. I just need a simple site with 7-8 pages. I have disabled several sections like Portfolio,blog. Still it is taking too much time to load. Is there anyway by which we can minimize the loading time.
