Page too slow after slideshows

    I have built a page with 15 slideshows.
    The average number of photos per slideshow is 30.
    The average size is 3 MB per photo.
    Now this page is loading very slow and the last 5 slideshows are not correctly shown.

    What to do to improve the performance of this page?
    Is resizing of the photos the only solution?

    This is worth thinking about! There is a way in the premium edition to do a [satellite splash=on] so it doesn’t load the slideshow until you click the > (play button). Which would be a fix, but not be the experience you’re going for.

    3MB per photo is definitely too big, but my plugin should have resized your photos if you’re using the gallery manager. 1024px is all you normally need.
