# page-title wrong

 * Dear Support-Team,
 * We have another issue. On our events-site the page-title is “Archives”. ([http://oberauer.superscreen.corpex-kunden.de/events/](http://oberauer.superscreen.corpex-kunden.de/events/))
   
   We can not find a solution. We already tried it with tribe_get_events_title(),
   but that did not work properly. After this change it shows both, “Archives” and“
   Anstehende Events”. We would like to have the page-title “Events” instead of “
   Archives”. Also the breadcrumb-navigation does not display all information. When
   you switch form “list” to “month” the “Events” next to “oberauer” dissapears.
 * Mabey this is important, it created two “elements” in our menu-dashboard. (apperance–
   menus)

    I had the same problem and realized this was due to my theme functions
   calling “Archive” as default page title. I had to modify this function in my

 * Hey [@oberauer](https://wordpress.org/support/users/oberauer/),
 * Does the same thing happen when you switch to the default WordPress Twenty Sixteen
   theme? If not, then I would suggest reaching out to the theme author for help
   making an adjustment to the way page titles are managed in the theme.

    we can not say, because Twenty Sixteen does not have a breadcrumb
   nav.

 * we now learned that this is due to the theme “freesia empire”. There we need 
   to make a customization.
