 * is there any way that i can remove my page title from my home page.
    if i add
   this code headline_area{display:none;} to my stylesheet where about would i put
   it? and does it affect my SEO?

 * we could give you better advice with a link to your site..
 * but I believe text-indent: -999em is better than display:none
 * that way your title is ‘displayed’ for SEO, but doesn’t appear on the page
