Page times out when posting problem?

    Hi all,
    This may or may not be a problem, I don’t know…
    Sometimes when I publish a post I get a “cannot find server” page saying “The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. blah blah” after a short while.
    However, the post’s are always published. Is this anything to worry about?

    Look in Options for Update services, and remove whatever is in there, then try to post.
    Also try unchecking the ‘ping urls’ box to the bottom left of the editing area.
    Doing that may speed up posting, but leaving them as they are is no problem. I certainly get the page ‘hanging’ at times but it’s no issue.

    Nice one, cheers Podz.
    Seems to be posting fine now I’ve removed the pingomatic link, I’ve just replaced it with a few chosen ones instead.
