Page templates not working | WordPress.org

The page template doesn’t change! When I choose different page templates from the drop down or use the shortcode to indicate a page template(template=”template-id”) nothing changes and I still have the same page template as before. Anyway I can fix this?

Hi,
It seems like you got confused between link and page template. The template parameter with the shortcode is for the link template, and when you go to details page like this https://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/descargar/package-with-multiple-versions/.
