# Page Template Option Missing

 * I’m using WordPress 3.0.1 Multisite and I’m trying to assign a template to a 
   page. The option, however, is missing! There is no dropdown where the “Page Attributes”
   pane is.
 * Any ideas?

 * Are you sure your theme has template pages to select?
 * If the template pages are new, activate another theme or the default theme, and
   then activate your theme again, sometimes the template pages are not picked up.
 * I also prefer the dropdown on quick edit, Pages > Pages and Quick Edit, Templates

 * You were absolutely right! I deactivated and reactivated the theme in the super
   admin and the template dropdown’s back.

 * No Problem, I was caught out a few times adding template files via ftp, but not
   since “WordPress 3”, and I thought it was resolved!
