    Hi Patrick,

first of all. Thanks for this amazing plugin. I’ve run it through several page speed tester and pretty much all of them show the 100 except for Google Page Speed SEO insights.

I have installed a fresh 6.1 install and installed Rank Math for SEO. I’ve tested the different export settings but still get the following warning:
“Document does not contain a valid rel=canonical element Is not an absolute URL.”

When I check your personal website with Page Speed insights, the error does not show up. Did I miss something here? Deployment is on Vercel.

    Cheers
    Chris

    Hey @christianlauer,

    good question!

To make that work with RankMath, use “Absolute URL” instead of “Relative Path” in Simply Static -> Settings -> Destination URLs.

This way, the canonical will contain a full URL instead of the relative path to the URL.

I do plan to handle these things automatically, but there are just too many edge cases to cover 🙂

    Best regards,
    Patrick
