Page-specific side menus

I am using the Revolution Code Blue theme, and am fairly new to WordPress. I am trying to add a side menu to just one page, and one page alone. However, this theme does not natively support menus, so I created a custom menu and tried adding it as a widget to the sidebar. This makes it show up on all pages.

I removed the widget, then tried following the steps listed at http://codex.wordpress.org/Navigation_Menus to make the theme support menus; however when I do it that way, my menu shows up as a badly bulleted list with the bullets starting on the left and the menu items on the right, overrunning my text.

Does anyone have any tips on creating side menus in Revolution Code Blue?
