On my Yoast-generated sitemap, I have a Post and a Page sitemap, as suggested by my website provider (and host) Showit. Everything’s been in place for a few months now since August 2019 when I started using it.

However, not all the pages are showing in the page sitemap. It only shows some quite pointless pages like the privacy policy: https://prnt.sc/r7ocsh and contact, but not the page that it’s important to have reflected in my very simple site’s structure. These are the pages that should be showing: “Details” and “City Hall” yet they are nowhere to be seen: https://prnt.sc/r7od1u

I do however have 2 other sitemaps, provided by Udinra and Jetpack, so wondering if this could be the issue. Here’s my Google Search Console sitemaps: https://prnt.sc/r7oh2b

I publish content multiple times a week and am trying very hard to dominate local SEO for my industry, so any mistakes or errors could be very costly and derail my efforts, so I’m keen to follow best practices. Thanks! Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Whereas the XML Sitemap should dynamically update after any modification to it, if the site or server is caching the sitemap this can cause it to not update right away. We also have additional information on this at the following link: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/sitemap-does-not-update/. If you are not seeing the sitemap as updated, we would recommend checking your caching settings and to ensure that the sitemap is being excluded from the cache.

If you are still experiencing an issue with the sitemap not updating after checking your caching settings, you can also force a cache reset by temporarily disabling the sitemap feature, and then re-enabling. To do so please perform the following steps:

      In WordPress go to SEO>General>Features
For ‘XML Sitemaps’ Toggle the switch to ‘Disabled.’
      Click ‘Save Changes.’
Toggle the switch back to ‘Enabled.’
      Click ‘Save Changes.’

We also have a guide on how to enable/disable XML Sitemaps here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/enable-xml-sitemaps-in-the-wordpress-seo-plugin/

Thank you! The issue was actually with Showit, my website provider. Thanks for the help, I did do what you suggested just to force any changes
